A Systematic Review of Self-Regulated Writing Strategies Related Research Trends in Korea

Self-regulated learning has received much attention in the realm of education since mid 1980s, and there been a good deal domestic as well overseas research this area. In context, self-regulated writing strategies have designed were proved to be effective for on process. However, date, is no analyzing previous related into area Korea. This study aims analyze trends with focus research, suggest implications future research. For purpose, 110 papers (graduate theses academic articles published 2000) collected. All reviewed classified according analytical criteria such year publication, method, learners topics.Our findings show that firstly, growing 2000. Also, was more conducted using quantitative method compared made use other methods. Second, result by learner's school level, most studies elementary students, followed high finally middle students. Third, topics based thematic analysis included six categories. Namely, learning/strategy intervention its effect analysis, variables ability, utilization activities, self-regulation strategy plan, an exploration process, development inventory test. Based these findings, it necessary us continue studying various methods, examine considering diverse variables.
